Prof. Dr. Pradeep Bahadur Neupane, Campus-Chief of Tri-Chandra Multiple Campus, Tribhuvan University wished M.Sc. in Engineering Geology students Ms. Pabitra Bhandari, Mr. Puspa Bhattarai, and Mr. Sujan Bhattarai together with Dr. Prem Bahadur Thapa, Coordinator of M.Sc. Engineering Geology for a successful study visit in Japan on Thursday, 6 February 2020 at Campus Chief’s office.
Assistant Campus Chiefs Ms. Meena Gurung, Mr. Janak Raj Dhungana and Mr. Bal Krishna Khatri, and Dr. Ananta Prasad Gajurel, Head of Geology Department, other faculties and staffs of the campus were present on the occasion.
Prof. Dr. Tetsuya Sakai from Shimane University had visited Tri-Chandra Multiple Campus, Tribhuvan University in Kathmandu to introduce the program and strengthen bilateral cooperation and good relationship between Shimane University, Japan and Tribhuvan University, Nepal.
The student exchange program between Tri-Chandra Multiple Campus, Tribhuvan University and Shimane University is supported by Japan Science and Technology Agency, Government of Japan under the Sakura Science Plan.
Dr. Prem Bahadur Thapa is leading the team of students from Tri-Chandra Multiple Campus, Tribhuvan University to get training in disaster reduction science at Shimane University, Japan from February 9 to 17 2020.
The team departed on February 8, 2020 to Shimane University, Japan.
